Over the years the Powerstroke has become well known for the good and the bad. Starting with the 7.3 power stroke in 1994. Right off the bat this engine made a good name for Ford diesel. In 2003 the 6.0 powerstroke came out. People loved this engine at first until the typical problems that most of us know about and the expensive repair bill that came along with it. In 2008 the 6.4 powerstroke came out. This engine can create tons of power and are really fun, but unless you do the proper modifications to the engine it will not be very reliable. Finally the newest powerstroke is the 6.7. This engine has been just great no major repairs needed just minor things but nothing really typical so far.
